The market of Klauzál Square among the 31 best experiences to try in 2016
Hvg.hu writes that Budapest is on one of Lonely Planet’s toplists again: this time, the market of Klauzál Square was chosen as part of the list that ranks the best experiences to try in 2016.
Even Lonely Planet calls the 7th district the “ruin bar district”. The market of Klauzál Square, which was renovated last year, can be found there. The market finished at the 27th place of Lonely Planet’s new collection of the 31 best new openings and attractions of 2016.
According to Lonely Planet’s list, the market that originally opened in 1897 offers fresh local vegetables, fruits, bakery and hand made products on seven thousand m2. They added that it is worth checking out the market and grab some food or buy souvenirs before visiting a local ruin bar.
Volcano climbing in Nicaragua, which is possible since last October, won the first place. It is followed by jetting across Japan in a new bullet train and spotting newly introduced lions in the Akagera National Park, Rwanda.
