Slovakia makes new statement regarding multiple citizenships

Change language:
The Slovakian Government did not have any time nor opportunity to work on their brand-new governmental program as, like in many states, its leadership has been occupied with the matter of the coronavirus epidemic in Europe and worldwide. On a Sunday legislative session, the Slovakian state announced the recent changes and new elements of their program.
Újszó reported that Prime Minister Igor Matovič emphasised that this new program is an ambitious, energetic and capable package to make the Slovakian state a better place in the future. The government aims to determine itself and to tell the truth and, no matter what happens to the country, to give citizens what they deserve. The main points of the document are to vanish corruption, develop the most modern education system in the country and to make the healthcare of the country better.
The other intention of the government is to change the law regarding multiple citizenships. The state decided to provide an opportunity for people who live on a long-term in another country to accredit its citizenship without losing the Slovakian.
