Orbán on official visit in Indonesia
Budapest, January 30 (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is leaving for an official three-day visit to Indonesia on Saturday afternoon, the head of his press office said.
The delegation includes Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Economy Minister Mihály Varga, Development Minister Miklós Seszták and Farm Minister Sándor Fazekas, said Bertalan Havasi.
Orbán is scheduled to lay a wreath at the memorial of Indonesian national heroes in Jakarta’s Kalibata cemetery and hold talks with President Joko Widodo.
Hungarian and Indonesian government representatives will sign cooperation agreements, including one on an exchange programme in higher education and another on cooperating in fishing and aquaculture.
Orbán will also hold talks with Le Luong Minh, Secretary General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The Hungarian premier will participate at a business forum with Vice President of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla where agreements will be signed between chambers of commerce and industry in the two countries and between Hungarian and Indonesian companies providing public utilities services. Orbán’s delegation will visit the city of Yogyakarta and meet Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, the governor of Yogyakarta.
