Arab Cultural Days – day 2

During the second day of the Arab Cultural Days an outstanding conference was held at the Museum of Ethnography in two sections, globoport.hu writes .

The first was the “Arab-Hungarian Historical-and Cultural Ties,” while the second was titled “Traditional Models: Culture and Architecture.” Abdelkaber Dehendi, the Algerian ambassador to Hungary has also held an excellent lecture. Many of the Arab ambassadors were present, and the African-Hungarian Union was represented by Ferenc Mazár.

Maysoon Bakir, a Palestinian painter currently living in Austria was also present at the conference, where her paintings were put on display.

During the day long conference at the museum, many Arab countries had the chance to introduce their homeland with several cultural programmes and food tastings. Many of the participants have also attended the Travel and the 5^th HTCC African Expo exhibition earlier.
