Hungarian movie Demimonde wins 5 awards at the Tiburon Film Festival – Watch the trailer here!
According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, the new Hungarian movie, Demimonde is a great success abroad as well. The movie won five awards at the Tiburon International Film festival in California.
Attila Szász’s movie won the award for Best Film and Best Director, Norbert Köbli became the Best Screen Writer, András Nagy the Best Cinematographer and János Kulka the Best Actor.
The acknowledgement is a great success, as no Hungarian movie has ever been awarded at this festival. But now, Demimonde, which was also accepted well in Hungary, won 5 awards. Moreover, János Kulka is the first Hungarian actor to be awarded at the festival. The Tiburon International Film Festival was held for the 15th time this year.
The number of awards won by Demimonde grew to 9, as it already had four Hungarian Movie Prizes from before. The movie aired in televisions last December and it is also screened in cinemas since February.
