Setting a Guinness record at the Nagy Futam almost ended awfully – VIDEO
On May 1, the programme of the Nagy Futam included an attempt to set a Guinness record. The attempt was successful: the three aerobatic planes could manage to fly under the Chain Bridge at the very same time, reports totalcar.hu. However, the act almost took an unfortunate and unpleasant turn.
It is unknown why, but after the record setting one of the planes got too close to the Danube and bounced on the water, which rather shocked the audience, almost causing a tragedy.
Earlier that day, at the car race of the event, a Ferrari had crashed into the barriers in front of Várkert Bazár (Budapest Castle Bazaar), but luckily neither did that incident end in tragedy, as no serious harm was caused by the accident.
