Pfizer produces spectacular numbers, the Chinese vaccine is fishy
Many people took an antibody test after a coronavirus vaccine because they are curious about its effects. As it turns out, this is far from universal.
444.hu conducted a short survey among its readers. The number of sent in results is currently above 500. (Samples are taken from a vein and evaluated in laboratories on request.)
The oldest reader submitting the results is 95 years old, having with Pfizer-BioNTech administered in January, according to a measurement taken four months later. It seems that among the negative tests submitted, the majority were performed after the Chinese vaccination.
None of the vaccines provides 100% protection against infection. Their strength is the avoidance of more serious diseases.
- EU to shortly sign world’s largest vaccine deal with Pfizer
- A third dose may be needed, according to Pfizer CEO
The simplest way to check for an immune response is a rapid antibody test, a good indicator that a person has been vaccinated effectively and has some level of protection. If the rapid test does not detect an acceptable level of antibodies, many will do a more intrusive blood test.
It is important to note that testing too shortly after the vaccination can produce a false negative result. With mRNA vaccines, the onset of antibody production is usually well established within 3-4 weeks, but with Sinopharm, for example, it is a slower process.
Earlier, László Puskás, the head of the Avidin laboratory in Szeged, told 444.hu that those who cannot detect the antibody cannot be declared protected.
The Chinese vaccine is an entirely different type than the latest mRNA vaccines or adenoviral vector vaccines. It contains an inactivated virus that triggers multiple antibody production, works with a complete protein palette, but should also trigger an antibody response against S-protein.
Minister Gergely Gulyás said in the government information on Thursday that within 7-10 days, the protection will reach a sufficiently safe level. This is certainly not true for everyone. It seems that even with mRNA vaccines, this time is not always enough to detect the antibody above the limit, and the body usually responds more slowly and at a lower temperature to the Chinese vaccine.
There are many people for whom a fraction of the lower limit was measured. Doctors were not given any information on what to do in such a case.
Indeed, there are not just a few people, since 444.hu received almost 100 finds that did not detect a sufficient amount of antibodies long after the second Sinopharm vaccination.
The World Health Organization has evaluated the vaccine, and the evidence has not been found strong enough that the vaccine provides an acceptable level of protection, even in the elderly.
The values obtained during the serological tests are not directly proportional; they cannot be clearly corresponded to the antibody level or the vaccine’s effectiveness.
wrote the operative staff to one of the readers of 444.hu
The operative strain noted that those who did not have antibody in their body could be more accurately informed about the degree of protection by a virus neutralisation test, but this is not performed as a routine diagnosis.
“In addition, the antibody response is only one line of defence. The other important line of defence is cellular immunity, which in turn is more difficult to measure.”
according to the operative strain
This is true; only the results of research assessing this lack in Hungary.
In summary:
the tests do not necessarily test for the type of antibodies they should;
they do not do it well enough;
not only antibodies matter.
Finally, they wrote in their letter that “it is not yet sure what level of antibody provides sufficient protection. “
From the data submitted, as well as from official research, it can be seen that mRNA vaccines are really starting strongly, this jumps out with data from almost all Pfizer-Biontech and Moderna, yet a third vaccination may be needed here over time.
It has been shown that one dose in younger people and two doses in older people are as effective as if they had developed antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 infection. Those who had previously been infected developed even stronger protection as a result of vaccination.

It’s so irresponsable publish with this tittle with an example so tiny and without context. A lot of people is receiving this vaccine and this ‘fishy’ articles only makes them worried. There is a lot of information (cientist papers and publications) about the good results given with the use of Sinopharm. Pfizer is spending millions in publicity. If you need help about the cientist publications I can help you find it.

Understand the Chinese are VERY restrictive around data re Sinopharm – never a good sign
Full disclosure – I opted for Sinopharm when it became available, knowing I may need extra or other jabs…
