Rod Stewart may have given a secret concert in Hungary

Besides visiting the most famous sights of Budapest, Rod Stewart presumably gave a secret concert somewhere in Hungary. Still, the singer did not share any information about the performance in advance.

In the past several years, Budapest has become a favoured shooting location. It also played host to singers, other celebrities, and several actors have been spotted on the streets of the Hungarian capital on vacation. As we have reported, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently travelled to Hungary to visit his friend. Last week, singer Luis Fonsi posted Instagram stories from Budapest and the singer of the world hit Despacito brought his entire team with him, including choreographer Danny Lugo and dancer Kiara Y. Singer Rod Stewart was also spotted in the Hungarian capital, but he did not share any information or photo about his secret visit. His image was leaked when he took part in a guided tour:

Everyone started guessing the real reason behind the celebrity’s visit to Budapest. One of the most important weddings of the year took place a few days ago: Lőrinc Mészáros, the wealthiest and one of the most influential individuals in Hungary, married Andrea Várkonyi, TV show host and reporter. It was already rumoured that the couple invited foreign star guests to the ceremony (it was leaked to the press that Jennifer Lopez would entertain the guests, but Andrea Várkonyi vehemently denied this), so

some people suggested that Rod Stewart or Luis Fonsi gave a secret concert at the wedding.

According to the official website of the world-famous singer, he has no announced concert dates in Europe; nonetheless, more telltale photos had appeared on the Instagram page of the singer’s wife, Penny Lancaster, claiming that “the band back together again in Hungary”:

Blikk claims that their correspondent heard the sound of a sudden ovation and applause near the Alcsút Arboretum on the night of the wedding, which was followed by Rod Stewart’s song Sailing. If these rumours are true, the couple had to pay a considerable sum for the private concert. According to Booking Entertainment, the singer is mainly recommended for the 35−50, 50+ age group. He can be booked for corporate events, private events, weddings, social media campaigns, appearances, speaking engagements and product endorsements worldwide. However,

if someone wants to book Rod Stewart for a mini-concert, that person has to dig deep into their pocket since the price of any event starts at $1,000,000.
