14 new routes and significant frequency increases at Budapest Airport!

The new Winter 21/22 schedule of Budapest Airport came into force on 31 October. The country’s largest commercial airport continues to provide new routes, resumed services, and considerable frequency increases in the new season.
Wizz Air, Hungary’s airline, which uses Budapest Airport as a base, will offer 4 new routes in the airport’s winter 21/22 schedule.
The new routes will connect Budapest with Amman, the capital of Jordan; Aqaba; Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, and Hurghada in Egypt,
writes Turizmus.
According to Budapest Airport’s Facebook page, Ryanair has also announced that it will operate 8 new routes from Budapest Airport this winter. The Dublin-based carrier will launch flights to popular destinations in eight countries:
Cologne (Germany), Krakow (Poland), Kaunas (Lithuania), Lappeenranta (Finland), Riga (Latvia), Shannon (Ireland), Bournemouth (United Kingdom), and Turin (Italy).
The map below shows the Winter 21/22 flights, and the new routes are marked with yellow.

In addition, Ural Airlines has announced weekly flights to Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg (Koltsovo Airport) in Russia for the winter of 2021. The Russian airline is also planning a seasonal flight to Kurumoch (Samara), and it will increase its frequency to Zhukovsky Airport (Moscow) from one flight to two per week.
