Here are the new destinations of Wizz Air from Hungary
Wizz Air has announced new flights, and thus the number of available destinations will increase to seven in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks to the cooperation between Wizz Air and Debrecen Airport, passengers will be able to enjoy three new flight connections from December, in addition to the existing ones.
At the moment four destinations can be reached by direct flight from Debrecen: London, Paris, Eindhoven and Tel Aviv.
Two out of the three newly announced flights were already in operation before, but now there is a whole new destination added as well.

According to the local newsportal, dehir.hu., the first resumption flight will take passengers to Moscow, the capital of Russia, from the 13th of December.
The following week, the flight to Brussels, which was terminated years ago, will be resumed as well. There will be two flights a week during the festive period beetween the Belgian and the Hungarian capital.
An entirely new destination has also been announced. From the 19th of December, passengers will be able to directly fly to Kiev from Debrecen.
Dehir.hu also wrote that three new holiday flights have appeared on Wizz Air’s schedule for next year. It means that the airline plans to extend its routes to Mallorca, Cyprus and Santorini from Debrecen during summer 2022.
There are also plans to open the country’s 3rd major international airport at Lake Balaton, in Sármellék.
Tourism in Debrecen and in the surrounding region has been rising sharply in recent years. Apart from the tourists who choose this destination for its cultural and historical heritage, locals also like to relax and enjoy some wellness activities at the capital city of Hajdúság. Debrecen is also famous for its active university life which also attracts many foreign students to the city.
