National Ambulance Service posted “strip” video: sexist or funny?
The National Ambulance Service posted a strip video about the new uniforms they received, but many people find the video sexist and outrageous.
New uniforms arrived
“Catering to the needs of our comrades, the new vests with removable sleeves, belts, optional pockets and knee protectors, the new uniforms have arrived,” wrote the National Ambulance Service (OMSZ) on its Facebook page.
A video was also posted, which shows what the new uniforms look like. In the video, four female office workers are bored at their desks when a sporty ambulance man enters to try on the new clothes.
All four women signal clearly that they like the ambulance man: one of them smiles at him while twisting her hair, the other “sexily” pulls on her blouse, the third woman sighs and looks deep into the eyes of the man, and the fourth woman smiles shyly.

The comments
The comments under the video are mixed; many like it and send their congratulations to the marketing team for the great idea, while others are outraged at the ambulance man’s sexual objectification.
“Total secondary shame! Why should anyone be treated as an object in 2022??? They had no other ideas, so let’s revert to the topic of sexualisation. This time, for a change, it is not women who are objectified but men,” writes one commenter.
“Did we really reach the point where when we think of the Ambulance Service, we remember this sexist video? The men must be good-looking while the women behave as mindless idiots?” another person expressed their opinion, according to Telex.
444.hu also found critics:
“I don’t mind at all that I don’t belong to the OMSZ anymore after such a video… it’s awful… but it seems people like it. We shouldn’t be shocked that we have no respect at the scene….”
“The only info I learned from the video is that all the office workers at the ambulance service are bored all day and are excited about the ambulance guy in the new clothes. I learned nothing about the benefits of the new equipment, for example.”
“Why is it necessary to objectify a person who has a life-saving occupation? I have a lot of respect for the work of the OMSZ, and for their online communication in general, but I think it went very wrong this time.”
But there were some who liked it:
“I like that you’re so cool/fun.”
“Someone please send me an ambulance now (tears of joy emoji)”
“I feel sick… I guess I’ll call them too! But I want this guy to come…”
“Is the office hiring?”
What do you think? Was it sexist or rather funny?
