Hungarian-owned low-cost airline Wizz Air is suspending its flights to and from Ukraine, the company said on Thursday.

“In view of recent developments in Ukraine and the closure of Ukrainian airspace, Wizz Air regrets to announce that it will suspend all flights in the country,” the statement said.

They said on Facebook that “due to the current situation in Ukraine and the airspace closure, Wizz Air regrets to inform our customers that the airline must temporarily suspend all flight operations to and from the country.
