Tram No. 2 runs between Jászai Mari Square and Közvágóhíd. Ten years ago, National Geographic listed it as one of the most beautiful tram lines in the world. No wonder it offers one of the most scenic experiences in Budapest.

You will have the chance to marvel at the bridges spanning the Danube, the Gellért Hill, and the Buda Castle. The sight of ships cruising along the river or resting by the bank, the Vigadó, and the Parliament are all delightful sights. It is truly an exhilarating feeling to ride the tram with such backdrops.

  1. They ALL – are GEMS – “treasures” of Budapest, Hungary.
I NEVER tire of using them.
My motor vehicle – sits idle vastness of time over say 12 months – because of our Public Transport System.
I reside in District V – which accept my being – SPOILED – by the availability of Public Transport – all forms, in many cases, is not same for citizens in ALL the Districts of Budapest,Hungary.
Visitors – when taken on these (3) three public services are in “awe” of what they see and the pleasure of their journey.
Wonderful use of forward thinking by BKV – the “Sightseeing” tram on route 19.
Visitors/Tourist – evan like my-self lacking in understanding of the Hungarian language – after (4) four years living in this joyous country, the innovation, what is occuring on Tram 19 – wonderful.
PLEASE I say to BKV & MAV – just not for an “old” grey bearded individual like me, expand this innovative promotion and marketing tool – that visitors & tourists – will embrace and be delighted at what it provides for them – the translation, into English.
Budapest, Hungary – we have GOT it.
LETS all – promote it – flaunt it and this type of innovative idea – is a move in the right direction, that WILL delight those who come to Budapest, Hungary.
