Hungarian FM to hold talks in Moscow
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó is travelling to Moscow on Thursday to hold talks with senior Russian officials, a foreign ministry spokesman said.
Szijjártó is scheduled to meet Alexander Novak, Russia’s deputy prime minister for energy, Denis Manturov, deputy prime minister for industry and trade, and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, Máté Paczolay told MTI. Szijjártó and Lavrov will hold a joint press conference after their talks.
Paczolay noted that Szijjártó has been tasked by the government with procuring some 700 million more cubic metres of natural gas for Hungary beyond the volumes specified in the country’s long-term gas purchase agreements.
