Body of 11-year-old boy found drowned in the Danube
The body of an 11-year-old boy who drowned in the Danube has been found, the Budapest Police Headquarters confirmed to MTI on Tuesday evening.
Earlier, the police said that the search for the boy who drowned in the river had closed the lower embankment of Buda on the Margit Bridge-Mozaik Street-Hajógyári Island K-bridge section, but after the child’s body was found, the restriction was lifted.
The boy had entered the water near Árpád Bridge when he drowned.
