Three teenagers abused a woman on tramline 3 in Budapest – VIDEO

Three young people started to harass a woman without any warning and then hit her. The abuse continued even after the woman got off the vehicle.

Shortly before 9 PM on 14 June 2022, two girls and a boy started harassing a passenger on tramline 3 in the 14th district of Budapest, police.hu reports.

The boy later punched the woman, and after the victim got off the tram, the group of three started to follow her and continued to harass her. The authorities have opened an investigation against the unknown perpetrators on suspicion of assault, reported szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu.

By now, the police have caught the hooligans.

On Wednesday evening, 3 August, the police said that they had received several reports that they recognised the young people in the video, based on the footage posted on their website. The Zugló police first identified the 17-year-old girl and then the 14-year-old boy.

The police arrested the girl at her address in Zugló on Wednesday morning, and in the afternoon, the boy turned himself in at the district police station. Their third, child-age partner has not yet been questioned by the police.
