Suspicious package found at Budapest Airport – authority acted swiftly
Hungary’s National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) seized almost 1 kilogram of cannabis drug at the Ferenc Liszt International Airport in Budapest.
One of the officers was checking a package containing cans when he discovered that the metal containers had 823 grams of drugs instead of non-perishable food. The package’s origin was Spain, and they deduced from the address that it was probably something illegal.
NAV reported the issue to the police, Index.hu wrote.
