Agricultural producer prices in accelerating increase in Hungary
Hungarian agricultural producer prices in September grew by an annual 61 percent, up from 52.9 percent in the previous month, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Friday.
Crop prices rose by 59.5 percent, with grain prices jumping by 82.3 percent and industrial crop prices up 50.8 percent. Vegetable prices increased by 39.8 percent, while fruit prices edged down 0.9 percent. The price of livestock and animal products increased by 64.3 percent, as prices for live animals rose by 69.2 percent and animal products prices by 55 percent.
