Hungarian government revealed how it will spend the EUR billions of the EU funds
It has been made public what developments and reforms the Hungarian government plans to achieve from the EU recovery funds. Among the plans are notebooks for students and teachers, social solar power plants, and railway development.
Some of the EU recovery funds will be available soon
The non-reimbursable funds of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) may soon be available to the Hungarian government, reports Telex. However, the European Commission wants to freeze several thousand million forints from EU budget subsidies due to concerns about the rule of law. In total, approximately 5.8 billion euros is granted to Hungary in non-reimbursable support from the RRF.

Free notebooks for students and teachers from EU funds
The 567-page Hungarian document plans developments and reforms in nine areas. The European Commission has analysed the plans in a document. According to the report issued by the Hungarian government, both students and teachers could get free notebooks. The coronavirus epidemic highlighted that neither students nor teachers had equal access to digital education. Therefore, they want to get 2in1 notebooks for 5-8 graders, and notebooks from 9th grade. A total of 579,000 notebooks will be distributed to students and teachers. However, only 85 percent of the students would get one.
New nursery places, support for disadvantaged students
During the epidemic, many working parents could not manage their children’s supervision. Therefore, they plan to create 12,000 new nursery places. In addition, they support the education of students with special educational needs (SEN). And in disadvantaged areas, they try to link those attending small schools to larger, better equipped schools.
The Hungarian government wants to raise teacher salaries from the EU recovery fund
The Hungarian government has already announced that they would like to raise the salaries of teachers from the EU recovery fund. Thus, teacher salaries will reach at least 80 percent of the average graduate salary by August 2025. Furthermore, in order to reduce the risks of segregation, they would reduce by 10 percent the support of schools with a blatantly low proportion of disadvantaged students. With this, they want to encourage schools to support disadvantaged students.
The pension system will also be reformed
“The possibility of further raising the retirement age should be examined”, writes the document. According to the Hungarian government, it is worth considering the use of parameters such as having children or participation in screening tests. An independent international expert report on this will be published by 31 December 2023. Then, a public consultation on the reform options proposed in the report will be held until 30 June 2024, and the legislative process will be completed by 31 March 2025.

Pie in the Sky.
Fidesz – current Government of Hungary under Victor Orban – AGAIN – using PROPAGANDA – that does not include Fact & Truth.
The wait for these Funds will not if they ever occur be in the immediate coming months.
The work Hungary STILL has to do in complying to the Rule of Law – for its ongoing membership is Emmense.
Rember – Hungary is NOT viewed as a Democracy by the European Union, but under a Government – an Orban led Government that is aligned to a Dictatorship.
The process when eventually Hungary submits ALL their answers on built and around COMPLIANCE of Membership in the European Union – Rule of Law – the required approval & satisfaction by the European Union must be GRANTED – that Hungary will in all aspects PRACTICE the Rule of Law under the European Union Membership.
Freedom of Media?
Freedom of the Judiciary – without Government involvement nor manipulation?
Rule by Decree – when they wish?
Having the European Union remove the STIGMA – it presently carries being termed looked upon and judged by the European Union as a DICTATORSHIP?
Democracy – is the CORE of being a member of the Family of European Countries.
Hungary – the ASK on them – to come back under Rule of Law its membership – to practice and embrace that is CONDUCTED under the CORE of being a member of the European Union – DEMOCRACY – this Orban led Government – it will be IMPOSSIBLE for them, the Fidesz rules of membership – its political ideas & philosophy all written published and compiled by Victor Orban – they will NOT be able COMPLY – to meet ALL the Rule of Law requirements to AGAIN be welcomed back into the “fold” as an active participating member of the European Union.
Martin Luther his time in Vest Castle, Coburg Germany – 1521-1522 we know what he undertook, that centered on the re-writing of the Bible.
Victor Orban – from his Castle Residency – will not “retire” to his study and re-write nor return Hungary to be a DEMOCRACY.
Why not build more football stadiums….in any case -most of the money will end up in Orban &Co pockets.
I think everyone supports the fact that EU should not release the funds, full stop!
