PHOTOS: Reputable Hungarian hotel closes after decades due to economic hardships
On 2 January, the Petneházy Club Hotel in Buda closed its doors for good. The decision was justified by the current economic hardships. The hotel is not the first and certainly not the last in the row of closing institutions.
The management of the Petneházy Club Hotel announced on Facebook that it was closing down after experiencing economic difficulties. They say they have tried to survive, but the economic situation does not allow them to continue, spabook.net writes.

Thank you very much for staying with us in the past years and we hope you have many beautiful memories of the days you spent at the Petneházy Club Hotel. Wish you a Happy New Year!”
their farewell post reads.
