The new passenger centre, which is directly accessible from the metro underpass at Keleti station, offers full service for travel-related administration, ticket and season ticket purchase, for domestic and international, individual and group travel, MÁV official site said. In addition, the customer service department will also process comments and refunds in one place. It also handles lost items at the station or on the train arriving there. More details HERE.
The new passenger centre has 11 ticket counters, one of which is accessible. Two escalators on either side of the renovated main staircase leading to the track hall and two new lifts. For passengers, 111 luggage lockers, consisting of compartments and lockers of various sizes, have been installed in the passenger centre. And with 15 new ticket vending machines, a total of 26 are now in operation in the Keleti.
From 1 May, the new passenger centre will be open to passengers from 4.30am to 0.30am, seven days a week.
