Hungarian Summit in Budapest helps companies trade in the USA
Last year, the Hungarian Summit was organised in Daytona Beach, Florida. This June, it will be in Budapest. That is the biggest annual American-Hungarian professional event organised by the HungarianHub, a Florida-based NGO.
HungarianHub regards it as its mission to strengthen professional ties between Hungary and the USA in the fields of culture, business and higher education. After the end of the COVID pandemic, they started to organise meetings and summits again. In 2022, the Hungarian Summit was a success in Daytona Beach, Florida. Therefore, HungarianHub decided to organise it annually.
The summit focuses on building American-Hungarian business, cultural and higher education ties. This year, it will be held in Budapest, and foreign guests will take part in a 5-day-long trip in Hungary, getting a unique opportunity to learn about the country and the region. The conference’s greatest added value is helping Hungarian companies and higher education institutions aiming to establish American ties and entering overseas markets. Doing so is the dream of many Hungarian entrepreneurs, but it is a long and challenging process. Hungarian Summit 2023 tries to support that.
Its central topic will be entering the American market. Presenters will talk about best practices and strategies. Furthermore, partakers may establish connections with representatives of American companies. There will be more than 50 well-known American professionals. Hungarian Summit will bring to Budapest Derrick Henry, the mayor of Daytona, Keith Norden, the CEO of Team Volusia, who coordinates the economic development programs in the Southern states of the USA, and Carol Ann Dykes Logue, the business incubation program director of the University of West Florida.

Partakers will acquire information about entering the Florida market and the presenters’ experience. Furthermore, they will be able to talk with professionals, lecturers and representatives of companies. As a result, they can establish long-term relationships. On top of that, presenters will hold rapid networking events to share their personal experiences.
Even Jordan Jiloty, the CEO of NASCAR, will come to the Budapest Hungarian Summit, which will start on 8 June.
You can meet among the presenters Dénes Kemény, the three-time world champion Hungarian water polo trainer, Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú and three Hungarian ambassadors in Washington, Réka Szemerkényi, László Szabó and György Szapáry. Magyar HÃrlap says NASCAR may bring a race to Hungary. You can register for the event HERE.
