PHOTOS: Racist bloodbath? Hungarian woman murders black mother-of-four

A woman of Hungarian descent living in Ocala, in Florida shot and killed an African-American family mother. Local American newspapers talk about racism. The two women quarrelled regularly since the mother’s kids played too close to the Hungarian woman’s house. However, the local black community believes the reason behind the horrific deed is racist.

According to Blikk, a Hungarian tabloid, Susan Lorincz and her neighbour, a mother of four, have quarrelled for a long time. But the local African-American community thinks the Hungarian woman was racist, and that is why she committed the terrifying deed.

They quarrelled because of the victim’s kids who regularly played on the parcel near Lorincz’s house. She did not like that, and local police knew about the altercation since they received reports from both sides in the last 2.5 years. One week earlier, their quarrel worsened after Susan hit one of the small kids with a roller skate.

The mother, Ajike „AJ” Owens, went to the Hungarian woman and knocked on the door. Lorincz remembered differently. She said the mother banged on the door instead of trying to get in politely. Anyway, Lorincz shot once in the direction of the door. But the bullet went through the paper-thin door and hit the mother. Local reports say that her four kids watched the events.

The victim:

The 35-year-old woman was brought to a hospital, but the doctors could not save her life. Authorities hesitated to accept Lorincz’s explanation about self-defence. The local black community began to protest, demanding her arrest. According to them, Susan is a racist since she scolded the kids before because of the colour of their skin.

A Hungarian friend of Susan’s told a local newspaper that he had known the woman for two decades, and she had not ever given a sign about racism. Finally, police arrested Susan on Thursday. They charge her with homicide and bodily harm. If convicted, she might face 30 years in prison. During her first hearing, she said she bought the gun because she was scared of her neighbour. A local supporter of the murdered mother wrote about Susan “she also swung on her kids and yelled at them while they were playing prior to the shooting and stole the kids’ iPad. She was finally arrested today after attempting to use the stand-your-ground law. We all know Florida, let’s just pray there is justice.”
