Budapest included in tour of legendary rap star!
Once again, one of the world’s most successful rappers, 50 Cent, will give a concert in Hungary. The 47-year-old Grammy Award-winning American artist will perform at the Budapest Sport Arena on 18 October, Live Nation reported.
50 Cent has visited Hungary twice so far, InfoStart reports. He first performed in 2006 at the Budapest Sport Arena, where he returned last October after a 16-year break. Now he has added more European dates to his world tour The Final Lap Tour 2023.
Back in May, Emmy and Grammy winner Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, announced a brand new world tour, The Final Lap Tour. With it, he is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of his record-breaking debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, hvg.hu reports.
Thanks to overwhelming fan pressure and with nearly 700,000 tickets already sold for the upcoming tour, the rapper has now announced new dates for the European tour. These include a Norwegian and a Hungarian show, as well as a second show in Birmingham.
The Final Lap Tour will see the rap icon perform dozens of fan favourites and chart-topping hits, as well as songs he hasn’t played live for a long time. In addition, his old friend Busta Rhymes will kick off the shows at venues across the US and Europe.
The tour starts in Salt Lake City on 21 July, the American leg will end in Toronto in September, before continuing in Europe a few days later.
The tour will arrive at the Budapest Arena on 18 October.
