Miskolc, Hungary completes EUR 5 million industrial park update

The municipal council of Miskolc, in north-eastern Hungary, has completed a HUF 2 billion (EUR 5.1 million) upgrade of its industrial park, the council told MTI on Monday.

The project involved water and road infrastructure and received European Union support and state funding, it said in a statement. At present, 19 companies operate in the 93.5-hectare park located near motorway M30 and the Budapest-Miskolc major rail line.

Miskolc Holding Zrt. has further developed the infrastructure of its industrial park in order to ensure that the county seat remains an attractive destination for investment, the local government of the town told MTI.

The aim of the investment was to create an industrial park with adequate basic infrastructure and good transport links in line with investor needs, Magyar Építők reports.

  1. I am a retired carpenter but still buy properties to upgrade thru my skills and free time. I have always loved Bosch tools, partly because they don’t shake the way Makita do. It is harder where I live to get them serviced but like a surgeon or optometrist, I no longer allow anyone to borrow my equipment to make my living. Not expensive garden equipment or power tools. The same friends taught me that lesson twice, didn’t give them a 3rd chance.
That is a nice looking plant. Huge. Hope that they have a good safety record and only hire/employ capable AND punctual persons, not trying to click imaginary boxes like here in the West. Years of that behavior has backfired on minorities who were given preferential treatment and had people in jobs for which they were not suited or qualified, which actually hurt that persons’ future and self esteem. And those who got sidestepped. No one goes to work daily knowing that they are an inept failure and that everyone knows it.
