Miskolc international film festival CineFest to open on 1 September
The CineFest international film festival, organised for the 19th time this year, in Miskolc, in northern Hungary, will showcase 17 films including award winners in Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and Karlovy Vary between 1 and 9 September, organisers told MTI on Wednesday.
The festival highlights will include Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film Poor Things, shot in Hungary, and Barnabás Tóth’s Those Who Remained, nominated for the Academy Awards.
The Goldman Case by Cedric Kahn, Perfect Days, Wim Wenders’s new film, and Slovak-Czech coproduction Victim will also be on the festival’s programme.
