Alza opens a new shop in Budapest
That will be the second physically reachable store of the webshop in Budapest.
Alza.hu is to open a new shop under József körút 14. The webshop will welcome its customers with price reductions on the first week (11-18 August), Világgazdaság wrote. The first operation day will be 11 August. According to the Hungarian news outlet, you can buy more than 2,000 products in the store. Ákos Forrás, the company’s country manager, said they would prepare 65 pc of the orders immediately. Meanwhile, 35 pc in one day for the customers.
He added that in the first half of 2023, more than 35 pc of their customers chose to take their orders in their stores.
Eliska Cerovská, the company’s PR manager, highlighted that the price reductions between 11 and 18 August would apply only to products bought in their new shop.
The government introduced compulsory price reductions – therefore, some shops needed to introduce quantity limits. HERE is our article.

Good news. I like Alza; haven’t gone wrong with a purchase from there yet. I wish they’d remove that incredibly annoying “assistant” that pops up on every single page and takes up 20% of the screen. That particular design feature I just do not understand who thought would be a good idea.
