Police have taken a Ukrainian man into custody on suspicion of murdering a 49-year-old man in central Budapest, according to a report on the police.hu website on Friday.
The 30-year-old suspect identified by police as Ferenc B. has been charged with robbing the victim of petty cash in Klauzál Square, in the 7th district, before beating him to death shortly before 1 AM on Thursday.
During questioning, police also established that a companion of the Ukrainian suspect had witnessed his act before drinking wine, bought using the stolen money, with him. Criminal proceedings have been launched against the 46-year-old man for failing to intervene, the statement said.

This susp4ct apparently escaped the Ukraine to avoid being sent to the front where he would become cannon fodder for the Russians.
Most likely a person with the name Ferenc (not a Ukrainian name) is a Hungarian who has two Ukrainian and Hungarian passports. And since he has a partner in Hungary, he knows Hungarian and most likely, does not know Ukrainian. Therefore, it is not necessary to focus attention in this article on a national sign.
