Hungarian sportswoman suffers fatal accident in Jordan

Fitness coach Zsuzsanna Kozma died on an organised trip to Jordan. Thousands mourn the loss of Kozma, who inspired tens of thousands of children to love physical activity and sports. The woman wanted to take a photo before the fatal accident.

Hungarian fitness trainer Zsuzsanna Kozma died on an organised excursion in Jordan, Blikk reports.The group was climbing a rock and were just leaving one of the cliffs when the athlete (it is not known exactly how) slipped and fell into the abyss. According to the tabloid, she wanted to take a photo before the fatal accident happened. As she was alone, it is not yet known exactly what happened, but she probably slipped and fell while taking the photo.

According to Blikk, Zsuzsa’s son Norbert refuses to accept that the tragedy was all his mother’s fault.

As far as I know, this was not a friendly trip, the organiser of the tour asked for money from the participants,

he told Blikk.Contrary to initial reports, he believes his mother wanted to take a photo of the sunrise when the tragedy happened.

I don’t know if they had insurance to cover how and from what we would bring our mother’s body home. I am sure, however, that if there are, I will not rest until those responsible are found.

Norbert said that the police first informed Zsuzsanna’s sibling about the tragedy. They are now trying to find out how Zsuzsanna’s body can be returned home. It is not yet known when it can be returned and who will do it.

Her personal belongings will be brought home by the tour leader at the weekend, when the group will return. I would love to look this man in the eye and hear from him exactly what happened!

László Glonczi, President of the Association for Disadvantaged Families (Hátrányos Helyzetű Családokért Egyesület), was a childhood friend of Zsuzsanna. Two weeks ago they spoke, and he let her go by making her promise to take care of herself.

That’s not what we agreed, that she would not return,

Laszló said in a trembling voice.

Kozma’s ex-partner also finds the events strange. According to Gergely Pál, in retrospect, it is strange that the group members left Zsuzsa behind on the cliffs, as the whole hike was organised. An investigation by the Jordanian authorities is likely to uncover the truth, but this will not ease the grief of the family or the thousands of fans.
