2023’s last Friday brings bad news to petrol stations
The last Friday of the year will see another fuel prices rise. The price of petrol will increase by HUF 8 gross, while diesel will rise by HUF 6 gross.
Due to the increase in the price of Brent oil, the wholesale price of petrol and diesel will also increase from Friday, holtankoljak.hu reported. The price of petrol will increase by HUF 8 gross, while diesel will increase by HUF 6 gross.
It is not yet known how this will be reflected in retail prices, but the portal expects the following average prices:
- 95 petrol: HUF 570/litre (EUR 1.49)
- Diesel: HUF 593/litre (EUR 1.55)
As we reported before, due to the increasing excise tax, fuel prices will skyrocket in January.
