Exciting news: 7 brand new hotels to open soon in Budapest
Hotels in Budapest are experiencing a significant period of investment this year, with multiple establishments set to open in 2024. Despite projections of a decrease in new hotel openings due to investment delays, the market is still planning the introduction of around 7 hotels, adding around 580 rooms to the city’s accommodation options. Let’s discover the brand new hotels in Budapest that will open soon!
New hotels in Budapest
The standout launch of 2024 in Budapest is set to be the opening of the Kimpton Bem Budapest Hotel, the first of its brand in Hungary. The project consists of two parts, with the office segment completed last year and the hotel section facing Bem Square currently nearing completion. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors in early summer, with preparations such as staff selection and training already underway, according to Turizmus.com.
The Kimptom Bem Hotel
The Kimpton Bem Hotel Budapest promises a luxurious experience with elegant decorations and intricate details across its 127 rooms, including 11 character-filled suites and a Presidential Suite on the 5th floor with a private roof deck. The hotel’s restaurant offers modern Mediterranean cuisine in a casually elegant setting, complemented by a rooftop greenhouse providing stunning panoramic views of Buda and Pest. The hotel aims to offer a blend of comfort and sustainability; consequently, its three-level underground garage will feature electric chargers.
The Bo33 and Bo18 Hotel
The owners of Bo33 and Bo18 hotels in Budapest are expanding their portfolio by opening a new four-star boutique hotel at 53 Csengery Street. This new hotel, part of the Bo53 project, is set to open in the autumn of this year and will feature 80 rooms. In response to guest demands, the hotel will offer not just double and family rooms but also residential units with kitchens. Services will include breakfast, a wellness area with infra- and Finnish saunas, a jacuzzi, massage rooms, and a fitness room. Like their other boutique hotels, this new addition will cater to both individual tourists and corporate clients.
The Three Corners Hotel and Resort
Three Corners Hotels and Resorts is constructing a 64-room city hotel at the corner of Paulay Ede and Nagymező Streets, with an anticipated opening this summer. The new four-star hotel will showcase a blend of classic style and modern luxury, offering unique room designs. Services will include breakfast, 24-hour reception, saunas, an elegant sectional hall and a limited food and beverage outlet with a “Broadway” menu targeting the “Pest” trade. Additionally, another unit of Three Corners – Hotel Anna, one of the best three-star hotels in Budapest, is temporarily closed for expansion and development.
