Police officers put an end to Orbán’s convervatism conference in Brussels 🔄
Change is needed in Brussels because the EU “is no longer the capital of freedom but a tool of left-progressive-liberal oppression”, the prime minister’s political director said in Brussels on Tuesday.
On the sidelines of the National Conservatism Conference, Balázs Orbán told Hungarian journalists that national conservative forces were “fed up with the Brussels super-state” and the “failed policies of the Brussels leadership,” which had sent Europe into a downward spiral.
National conservatives, he said, rejected pro-migration positions and wanted to live in a Europe of freedom and nations in which the bloc could also protect its own borders. He added that the EU should be a “peace project again” rather than a “war project.”
The political director said “the authorities and violent far-left antifa groups” had made it impossible to hold the conference in several locations, which he said was “astounding”.
“The sovereigntist, anti-immigration and pro-peace forces cannot be silenced,”
he added. He said the European Parliament elections on June 9 could bring about the change, and candidates of the Hungarian government side would “fight for the country’s interests” and make Hungarian voices heard in Brussels.
As we wrote before, according to leaked documents, an Orbán-close company bought Euronews, a European television news network headquartered in Brussels, by ultimately using Hungarian taxpayers’ money, details HERE.
🔄 Political director: Brussels left acted ‘shamefully’ by stymying National Conservatism Conference
The left wing in Brussels “acted shamefully” by attempting to stymie the peaceful National Conservatism Conference organised with the participation of professors, researchers and MEPs, the political director of the Prime Minister’s Office said late on Tuesday. Balázs Orbán said in Brussels that the left wing had “lost all moral grounds on which to preach” about constitutionality, human rights and democracy.
He said it was important that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had been able to address the event. “We were able to express our opinion and say that no matter how they pressurise or try to suppress us, we will not give up our policies,” he said. “They also gave proof of why a different type of institutional leadership is needed in Brussels, because the current lot are incapable of achieving outcomes that would satisfy the demands of European voters,” he added.

Pro-Russian enslavement mafia Ruble Right economically and morally failed Fidesz is on the warpath in Brussels.
Hungary would do a BIG favor to all EU If they just leave. Brotherhood with China and Russia are more beneficial to Orban. Lets see how much freedom Hungary can get from them
This is not “Orban’s” conference; it’s a pan-European gathering, comprising many prominent political leaders and personalities from most European countries. It’s a perfectly peaceful, civilized seminar at which ideas are voiced. The far-Left Brussels mayor, of course, bans it. Violent crime, ghettos, incitement to terror, and riots by illegal aliens as well as “new Europeans”? Not so much! This act alone will account for a couple percentage points’ swing to the Right come next election.
Police officerd did not “put an end to the conference”, but local authorities sure did overreact and police just followed the given order to not let anymore people in after the conference started. Conference itself continued and speeches were held.
I do not concur with the far-rght wing agenda but I do concur with the Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, a Flemish liberal:
“Banning political meetings is unconstitutional. Full stop.”

Local authorities sure did give far-right people good press about how oppressed they are in Brussels. I hope it was just a one time mistake from local authorities.
Having Orban give a speech in Brussels is only slightly better than having Putin give one. I don’t think Putin would ever be welcomed to give one so why give his protégé a stage? Orban can speak all he wants in Budapest. Let all the extreme right go there. Invite Putin to join them.
“Let all the extreme right go there. Invite Putin to join them” The stupidity of the NATO trolls at its best. It’s hilarious
Larry and Jose, as usual, against free speech. These people probably believe or able to protect ideas they proffer.
The First Amendment in the US protects free speech. Free speech, written by James Madison was important enough to be adopted as part of the Bill of Rights in 1791. One of the important bases of a democracy is free speech.
Now, Mayor Kir, a medieval Muslim from Türkiye does not believe in free speech. Kir is the product of EU and Belgium. Many socialist EU reps do not support free speech. Kir certainly would not allow people to speak who are against flooding EU with uneducated, Muslin, criminal illegal aliens. Kir feels power rests with majority, Kir does not have the majority, but it is coming. Belgium, the country has changed so much it cannot be recognized as a European nation with rational policies.
