Excellent news: Innovative digital ID in Hungary to be launched this week
From this September, identifying ourselves and managing our official affairs will become significantly easier. The new digital ID in Hungary is already on its way. As a first step, citizens can download an application which will be available from this week, from the 18th of May.
Handy innovation
Dívány writes that our crucial data will find its home within our mobile devices through the Digital Citizenship Programme. This innovative approach simplifies our operations – eliminating the need for numerous in-person visits and saving costs. Soon, we will gain access to the mobile app. Upon visiting a government office, a message will be sent to activate your digital citizenship.
We all carry our phones with us on a daily, so it comes in handy to have all of our data with us. The cloud-based technology will make it easier to manage affairs from anywhere.
Why is the digital ID in Hungary useful?
Through the National Digital Citizenship Programme, you gain the flexibility to handle your matters around the clock, eliminating the need for physical presence. No more taking time off work for official tasks that are constrained to office hours. This ensures that nearly everyone enjoys equal rights and conveniences in both the digital and physical realms. Dívány listed the following things that you can do with the app and the digital ID in Hungary:
- digital versions of all our documents will be available;
- a digital mailbox will allow us to communicate with each other in a clear and transparent way;
- all administrative and correspondence documents can be stored electronically;
- documents can be signed in an authentic way throughout the EU with an electronic signature service;
- electronic payments will be fully integrated, not only for payments to the State.

Of course, it is sold to the public as convenient, but it is very bad news! Sadly, people allow their own enslavement. It is just the next step towards a digital prison. All connected to the EU Digital Identity Wallet. The same reason why Fidesz doesn’t want to protect the usage of cash money as a fundamental right (basic law, like suggested by Mi Hazánk) Banks and governments will track every financial move we make. Cash money is freedom and independence.
Everything will be digitally connected, like in China, and also social credit score system will be introduced.
Handy for big brother to keep an eye on you yes..
