Same name change in New Zealand ….vodafone changed to One New Zealand. Vodafone branding was costing a fortune.
What business or commercial sense does this make?!?!
The Fidesz government bought Vodaphone Hungary putting it in government hands to be better able to spy on Hungarians. There is no other logical reason for them to spend 1.8 billion euros the government doesn’t have. Use T-Mobile. Their service is better and you are less likely to have dictator Orban monitoring you. There is no democracy in Hungary. They will come after you in you oppose the government.
Since it’s government owned, does that mean taxpayers will be on the hook to pay for rebranding?
