Wizz Air cancels flights to 2 destinations, aircraft tilts during disembarkation in horrific incident – VIDEO

Due to the escalation of the Israel-Iran conflict in the Middle East following Israel’s air attack and Iran’s retaliation, Wizz Air decided to cancel two flights into the area today. Meanwhile, a Wizz Air-leased aircraft tilted while disembarking passengers in Norway.

According to Index, Wizz Air announced today that they would cancel their flights to Tel-Aviv, Israel, and Amman, Jordan, until 20 June due to the escalating violence in the Middle East following Israel’s attack against Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile manufacturing capacities. They also offered a full refund to the passengers who booked their tickets through Wizz Air’s system. They were informed via email or text message about the change and what they had to do through the Wizz Air mobile app to get the full refund.

Wizz Air highlighted that they would decide about their flights concerning the safety and security of their passengers. They also said that planes would be redirected to other routes.

The Hungarian budget airline said passengers who booked their flights via travel agencies or other third parties should get in touch with them directly.
