Is that Michael Jackson? No, just a Hungarian impersonator who blew up TikTok!

A 40-second clip featuring Prince Majesty, real name Károly Darvai, performing Michael Jackson’s iconic dance moves has racked up over 7.3 million views on TikTok. The video, filmed at a charity gala held at a luxury hotel in Budapest, quickly catapulted into the ranks of the most-watched Hungarian TikTok content ever.

Prince Majesty has spent decades building his career as a professional dancer and Michael Jackson impersonator, but this marks the first time he has gone viral on a global scale, according to Index.

The clip wasn’t part of a planned performance: it was a simple phone video recorded from the side, but TikTok’s algorithm pushed it worldwide. The dancer said the overwhelming majority of comments have been positive, with many viewers even mistaking it for a previously unreleased video of Jackson himself.

The Hungarian Michael Jackson

The artist currently boasts nearly 128,000 followers on his @princemajestyofficial TikTok profile, and his 27 videos have collectively received over a million likes. His online presence extends to Facebook and Instagram as well, with a combined following exceeding half a million. Organically, his content reaches up to 10 million users per month, and during peak periods, that figure can soar to 70 million.

Prince Majesty has previously appeared on Hungarian broadcasters TV2 and RTL, as well as on several international television channels. He has performed in major venues such as the NTC Arena in Bratislava and the Audi Arena in Győr. His shows are known for their large production teams and striking visuals, all aimed at faithfully preserving Michael Jackson’s legacy.

Looking ahead, the performer plans to organise his own concerts across Europe, but in the meantime, he continues to tour major cities around the world: from Paris and New York to Dubai.
