Red Hot Chili Peppers: two concerts in Budapest
Metropol.hu reports that all of the tickets got sold in barely more than an hour for the American band’s show on September 1, therefore, they decided to perform in Budapest for one more night, on September 2, as well.
Red Hot Chili Peppers is coming to Hungary again after 20 years and this time, due to the huge interest of the audience, they are going to give two concerts. Thus, fans of The Chili Peppers can see their favourites on September 1 and September 2 2016 in the Budapest Arena.
As it can be seen on budapestarena.hu, Red Hot Chili Peppers is one of the most successful band of rock history: they have sold more than 60 million albums, 5 of their records became multi-platinum, they won 6 Grammys, including Best Album for Stadium Arcadium, Best Rock Performance for Dani California, Best Rock Song for Scar Tissue and Best Hard Rock Performance for Give It Away.
Furthermore, the quartet of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer received inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in April, 2012. This year, their upcoming 11th studio album – mixed by Nigel Godrich and produced by Danger Mouse –will be released in the summer on June 17, through Warner Bros.
The first single of The Getaway is Dark Necessities which has already become available for fans all around the world. Besides, the lucky ones who can manage to get hold of a concert ticket will also be proud owners of the album, as every ticket purchased includes a copy – either digital or physical – of The Getaway.
