A Budapest taxi driver knocked out two women, one left motionless by the blow – video
A video circulating on Instagram shows a Budapest taxi driver near St Stephen’s Basilica assaulting two women before speeding off, while two other men attempt to assist the victims.

A disturbing video has gained traction on Hungarian Instagram pages. According to Blikk, the exact date and location remain unclear, though Telex reports the incident occurred last Saturday night near St Stephen’s Basilica. The most plausible assumption places the scene at the entrance to the Advent Basilica Christmas market.
The footage shows two women and a taxi driver in the Budapest night, trading loud insults from the outset. One woman slams the taxi door on the driver, who retaliates with a punch that sends her collapsing motionless onto the hard pavement. He also shoves the other woman away, but she returns, slams the door again and continues shouting furious curses.

Strikingly, two men observe the scene at close range, yet neither intervenes to help the women who have been physically assaulted. One, apparently intoxicated, tells the driver that women must not be harmed. The other bends down to assist the woman lying seemingly unconscious on the ground, checking her pulse on her wrist and neck. He speaks to the driver, but the taxi speeds off moments later, after the woman on the ground kicks the car door twice and spits forcefully.
According to Telex and Blikk, police in Budapest’s 5th district have opened a criminal investigation for disorderly conduct against an unknown suspect and are examining the circumstances. The National Ambulance Service stated that its staff were not required at the scene.

We also reported that last Saturday a 25-year-old man from the countryside was killed by a single punch delivered by László A., following a quarrel outside the popular Morrison’s 2 nightclub. The cause of the dispute is unknown, but events appear to have unfolded swiftly, with no weapon involved—only one blow, which proved fatal.
The victim’s nose was likely broken by the punch, causing severe internal bleeding in the brain and subsequent oxygen deprivation. As he fell, he struck his head on the ground with no cushioning. Police and paramedics arrived within minutes, attempted resuscitation and rushed him to hospital, but his life could not be saved.

It’s high time, save for self-defense, to legally designate punches or any hits in the head as attempted murder, and prosecute it and sentence accordingly.
1, The video shows, this was self defence.
2, You assume all people have the anathonomical knowledge. That’s wrong.
3, the head, by it’s position is not the most vulnerable body part. It’s the neck. If someone want’s to kill you, he’ll aim at the neck. If you look at the stance of any martial artist, he’ll never raise or lower his hands to the point his neck get’s open. Even if it means taking a hit to the head. There is a reason for it.
4, attempted murder is a crime of intent. You can’t deduce the intent based on the fact, that it was a hit to the head.
Not to mention, that what you suggest would make two toddlers playing in the sandbox a bigger crime then killing a man with sloppy driving. It’s insane to think it’s not a disaster.
It’s clear that the women started the altrocation. They (plural, acting as a group) attacked the lone man, and tried to damage his property (car) in the meantime.
Men don’t hit women, because all parties understand the power balance, and it’s self evident. And women don’t attack men, because it’s futile and suicidal.
But men are also entitled to the right of self defense, even if the aggressor is pathetically weak.
If a woman willingly engages in combat guess what? It’s not dishonorable to defeat them.
These women need to learn how the world works, and that you simply don’t attack a man as a woman, just like you would’t fight a tank with a knife.
If you do, you’ll die, and it’s entirely your fault.
There are way too many taxi services now in Budapest, so it has become a very combative situation. When visiting, we always take the best, exemplary service, safe, to us the official, City.
I hope this video is sufficient evidence to withdraw both his taxi licence as well as his driving licence. He can work in a warehouse from now on, travelling there on the night bus for a 4am shift.
It is clear from the video that the women were gypsies who acted very agressively towards the driver who was just doing his job! The man would not have assaulted those women for no reason! He tried to leave by getting into his car, but they prevented him from doing so and kept at him! Self-defence on the part of the man was justified! Modern, self-entitled, narcissistic, and abusive women must learn this lesson: if you behave like a man, expect to be treated like a man!
Is it just me or have others noticed that people seem to have no decoram now a days? No self regulating skills to behave in exempulary ways rather than as low class ruffians. Is it that so many dress and do body enhancements that make them look like clowns or poverty ridden street persons? I don’t remember such public displays of bad behavior when people tried to look attractive in a modest way that they could also climb the workplace ladder in or meet dignitaries or family of close friends without shame. When they say ‘clothes make the man’ as James Gent often says on his youtube, that applies for women too…and how people present in public I blv is a statement they make about how they feel about themselves and others…low bar….
