Szeged Contemporary Dance Company to hold mini-festival in Brussels

The Szeged Contemporary Dance Company (Szegedi Kortárs Balett) is expecting nearly 14,000 viewers at a mini-festival held at the Cirque Royal in Brussels from Tuesday to Sunday, director Andras Echery-Pataki said.
Brussels will be one of ten stops the company is making during its tour of Belgium. They will play Carmina Burana on Tuesday, Lear on Thursday and the company’s new production, Amadeus on Friday, the anniversary of Mozart’s birth. The festival will end with a performance of the Nutcracker on Sunday, he said.
The company will conclude the tour with a performance of the Carmina Burana in Ghent next Monday, Echery-Pataki said, noting that they had performed the work more than 400 times already.
