Hungarian Diplomats Were Bugged During The Ukrainian Riots
The Security Service of Ukraine bugged the phones of the Hungarian consulate in Transcarpathia (Kárpátalja) during the “Maidan revolution” in Kiev. The number of people involved in the Transcarpathian monitoring scandal is increasing in every hour.
According to the press’s information, SZBU has given orders with the consent of a county court to bug the phones of several public figures, politicians and journalists between last December and this year’s February. Additionally, among the monitoring orders there were names of the Hungarian and Slovakian consulates’ workers. For example, there was Endre Szalipszki, whose monitoring was ordered because he documented the illegal activities of a certain “journalist” codenamed person.
Most of the bugging are connected to a leading judge at the Transcarpathian County Appellant Court, who, according to the recently publicized news, ordered his colleagues directly to make warrants to authorize the monitorings.
The attached copies were made from the aforementioned Hungarian consul’s monitoring warrant, which was signed by Mihajlo Fedeles, former commander of the Transcarpathian section of SZBU.
