Sziget Festival drops massive line-up bombshell: 40+ new global stars heading to Budapest! – video

Sziget Festival has unveiled another huge wave of performers for 2026, adding more than forty new acts to its already impressive line-up. The newly announced names span multiple genres and include some of the biggest artists on the international music scene.
Among the highlights are arena-filling rock titans Bring Me The Horizon, Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson, fast-rising hip-hop star Loyle Carner, and indie favourites Wolf Alice.
Festival founder Károly Gerendai admitted the late start to the organisation initially made him cautious about booking top-tier names, but the results have exceeded expectations.
“Comparing our programme with the international festival scene, we’re clearly among the very best in terms of musical offerings,” he said. “But Sziget’s success has never been just about star performers. Our atmosphere and overall experience set us apart. We want to give visitors much more than a simple concert – while still delivering the biggest and most exciting artists across every genre.”
The festival had already confirmed dozens of performers for August, including Twenty One Pilots, Florence + The Machine, SOMBR and Lewis Capaldi. Now, even more big names are joining the party.
Bring Me The Horizon and Zara Larsson lead the charge
British rock heavyweights Bring Me The Horizon rank among the world’s most successful bands, with Grammy nominations, a BRIT Award and more than 7 million albums sold worldwide. Known for their spectacular live shows, the group has evolved into a full-scale stadium act and remains a staple headliner at the world’s biggest festivals.
Meanwhile, Zara Larsson continues her meteoric rise. Following the release of her latest album Midnight Sun, the Swedish pop star is enjoying the strongest period of her career yet. Her high-energy performances combine powerful vocals, striking visuals and slick choreography, promising one of the most dynamic shows of the summer.
Wolf Alice return, Loyle Carner brings lyrical firepower
Wolf Alice also make a welcome return. Singer Ellie Rowsell previously described Sziget as the best festival the band had ever played. The indie-rock group released their new album The Clearing last August and are set to revisit one of their favourite stages.
UK rapper Loyle Carner, considered one of the most important voices of his generation, joins the line-up as well. A two-time Mercury Prize finalist with over a billion streams and sold-out shows worldwide, Carner is known for deeply personal and socially conscious lyrics. His latest album, Hopefully!, shows a lighter side – something fans can judge for themselves in August.
Electronic stars take over the Revolut Stage
The electronic music programme has also expanded significantly.
Australian producer Chet Faker, famed for blending soul, electronica and indie pop with a minimalist touch, will perform tracks from his forthcoming album A Love For Strangers, due for release in February.
Fellow Australians Parcels are also heading to the Revolut Stage. Formed in Byron Bay, the electro-pop group has surpassed one billion streams and recently released their third critically acclaimed studio album, LOVED. Their recent arena tours across Europe, North America and Australia have all sold out.
DJs and club legends galore
Dance music fans are in for a treat. New additions include jungle and drum & bass innovator Nia Archives, Greek techno pioneer Argy, and electronic music legend Richie Hawtin.
They will be joined by hard-hitting techno favourite Sara Landry and Boiler Room star Yousuke Yukimatsu, the former construction worker turned cult DJ, known for wildly eclectic sets that can jump from techno to New Order classics in seconds.
Hungarian favourites on the bill
Several major Hungarian artists have also been confirmed. Beton.Hofi, whose release 0 topped Hungary’s Album Top 100 last year, will perform alongside Analog Balaton, Ivan & The Parazol, and Mehringer.
