Chinese E-Commerce Giant Temu Partners with Hungarian Post

Hungarian Post and Temu have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening their business relationship and exploring joint development opportunities, the Hungarian Post announced on Wednesday via MTI.
According to the statement, the cooperation is designed to improve services both for Hungarian e-commerce businesses selling through Temu and for Hungarian consumers. The agreement reflects the two companies’ shared goal of providing faster, more efficient and higher-quality delivery solutions in Hungary.
Temu’s growing presence in Hungary
Like most global online marketplaces, Temu has opened its platform to European sellers in recent years. In Hungary, Temu’s seller interface became available in early 2025, offering Hungarian businesses a cost-effective way to sell directly on the domestic and regional market.
This expansion has positioned Temu as a new sales channel for Hungarian small and medium-sized online retailers, particularly those seeking alternatives to traditional e-commerce platforms.
Logistics integration with nationwide coverage
Under the planned cooperation, Hungarian e-commerce sellers registering on Temu will be able to manage parcel dispatch and returns directly within the platform. The Hungarian Post will provide the logistics backbone for these services, using its nationwide delivery network, which reaches even the country’s smallest settlements.
The integration is expected to simplify shipping processes for sellers while ensuring reliable last-mile delivery for customers across Hungary.

Supporting Hungarian e-commerce growth
The Hungarian Post said the signing of the memorandum demonstrates both companies’ commitment to examining further areas of cooperation, MTI said. Beyond logistics, the partnership could support Hungarian online retailers in expanding their market presence and improving competitiveness in cross-border and regional e-commerce.
According to the statement, the agreement lays the groundwork for future developments that may further strengthen Hungary’s digital commerce ecosystem.
