Major Hungarian bank is struggling with serious IT issues

The National Bank of Hungary (NBH) is taking immediate steps to resolve IT issues at MBH Bank, the country’s second-largest commercial lender, the central bank and financial market regulator said on Tuesday.
“The NBHÂ is engaging with MBH Bank in the interest of resolving the IT problems affecting client services as soon as possible,” the watchdog said, adding that preparations were underway for necessary oversight measures.
MBH announced earlier on Tuesday that some of its electronic services were temporarily unavailable for “technical reasons“.
