M-FlexiLog building EUR 10.4m packaging plant and logistics base in SE Hungary
Budapest, June 30 (MTI) – Austrian-owned printing and packaging company M-FlexiLog is building a 3.3 billion forint (EUR 10.4m) packaging plant and logistics centre in Békéscsaba, in southeast Hungary, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced on Thursday.
The 3,500 sqm storage facility and 4,500 sqm factory, which will be equipped with 21st-century technology, will employ 120 people.
The government is supporting the construction of the production base with a 922 million forint grant, the minister said.
Szijjártó said the printing and packaging industry’s output grew by 20 percent last year, exceeding 510 billion forints.
