Hungary midfielder Ádám Nagy moves to Italy’s Serie A
Hungary’s international central midfielder Ádám Nagy will continue his club career in Italy after signing for Bologna FC from Hungarian champions Ferencváros.
After becoming a regular member of Ferencváros’ squad the season before last, Nagy went on to post several decent displays for Hungary at the FIFA Under 20 World Cup last summer before new Hungary national-team coach Bernd Storck called him up for his debut away against Northern Ireland last September.
Since then, 21-year-old Nagy has become a regular starter for the national team, already earning 11 caps which include three appearances during Hungary’s successful Euro 2016 campaign in France last month. Interestingly, there is already another Hungarian connected with 1999 UEFA Cup semi-finalists Bologna, Bálint Vécsei also featuring on their squad list although he is currently out on loan at Swiss club Lugano.
