Hungarian chocolates triumph at International Chocolate Awards
Every winning chocolate was the work of a Hungarian chocolatier at the Eastern European Competition of the International Chocolate Awards, szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu reports.
The Eastern European Competition focuses on Eastern, Central, and North Eastern Europe to support the growing industry of chocolate making in this region. Hungarian chocolates proved worthy of attention by earning 6 gold, 9 silver, and 6 bronze medals at the competition, and what’s more,
every single winning chocolate was made by Hungarian chocolate manufactures.
The flavoured bars category was dominated by Harrer Chocolate and Curioso, while the other two categories welcomed a variety of winners such as ChocoCard, Bonbonier, Zangio Csoki, Lady Lavender Chocolate Manufacture, Christi’s Choco, Demeter Chocolate, as well as SWEETic, who were also awarded at the Great Taste Awards earlier this year.
The jury comprised of the Grand Jury of the International Chocolate Awards, as well as international judges, local chefs, bloggers, journalists, and chocolate experts. Votes were cast anonymously throughout the competition, and winners were announced in three categories. Check out the full list of winners here.
