Fenerbahce soccer team’s aircraft makes emergency landing in Budapest
Budapest, October 19 (MTI) – An aircraft carrying the Turkish soccer team Fenerbahce made an emergency landing in Budapest on Wednesday after cracks were noticed on the windshield.
The private plane was on the way from Istanbul to Manchester, according to Turkish media reports.
Budapest Airport spokesperson Mihály Hardy told MTI that an Embraer ERJ 195-200 LR aircraft made the emergency landing at Liszt Ferenc Airport and the landing took place without complications.
The passengers are waiting in terminal 2B for a replacement flight that will take them to Manchester, he added.
