A Row of Hungarian Castles Are Built Up Again in 3D

Accorfing to Mno.hu, the studio in Pecs, which also made the 3D reconstruction of the Simontornya Castle, published some of the works on its social site which will guide us to the age of the Hungarian castles. Mno.hu chose 3 from the 11 fabulous castle. Hungarian castles in 3D! Not to be missed!
Mno.hu dealt with the 3D reconstruction work of the Hungarian castles, various improvements on various occasions. Previously, they visited Visegrad, where a lot of excellent works born with the assistance of Gergely Buzas, director of the Visegrad King Matthias Museum. It was also reported about SziMe3D AR project, so about the developments of Vitanyvar and Szadvar. Now Mno.hu is selecting from the castles built by the studio in Pecs – in collaboration with archaelogists. There you can vote for the Hungarian fortifications.
1. AD 1260 – Sunset at the Lake Balaton
The scene speaks for itself. This not only fabulous picture could be an everyday sight from the second half of the 13th century. According to the traditions, Szigliget, Castle of Balaton was built by the Benedictine monks for the protection of the surrounding population after the Mongol invasion.
The particular episode of the castle began in 1275 when III Peter from the Heder clan, bishop of Veszprem captured and pillaged it. He brought the treasures of the Pok clan to the episcopal seat, which the family managed to get back only in the 14th century.
