According to termalfurdo.hu, 170 thousand votes were cast for nearly 200 Hungarian baths in the Bath of the Year poll.
On September 30, Bath of the Year voting was completed the first time this year which main purpose is to draw attention to the Hungarian thermal and medicinal treasure and to the baths. Our country is a real bath superpower, here the waters are unique not only in quantity but in quality as well, and several great spas were built on these waters.
Winners of the Bath of the Year voting
Hungarospa in Hajduszoboszlo became the Bath of the Year in 2015 which is largest spa complex not only in the country, but in Europe as well, and you can find here the largest pool of Central Europe. The voting revealed that many people are satisfied with the quality of services.
The Emerging Bath of the Year 2015 title was won by the Cserkeszolo Spa and Health Center in Szolnok County which is perhaps less well-known nationally, but it is quite popular in its own region due to the conscious and thoughtful developments of the last decade, termalfurdo.hu wrote.
Kerekdomb Thermal Bath in Tiszakecske won the Favorite Bath of the Locals 2015 title. It is located near Kecskemet and was completely renewed in 2014. Its specialty is the log sauna suitable for 50 people.
The categories were created by the organizer, termalfurdo.hu, because the nearly 200 participating baths have very different abilities and possibilities. Thus, smaller baths could compete with similar ones.
