Hungary’s six opposition parties will run on a joint list in the 2022 general elections, the parties said in a joint statement on Sunday. The decision was taken by party leaders at their last meeting of the year.

The Democratic Coalition (DK), Jobbik, LMP, the Socialists, Momentum and Parbeszed said they wish to express national unity with the joint list, unity “that will at once bring about a change in government and a new era” for Hungary.

The party leaders decided on the framework of their collaboration on Sunday. In all 106 districts, they will run with joint candidates, a joint candidate for prime minister, a joint programme and a joint list with the aim, they said, of dismantling the Orban regime and “giving the nation all that which was promised them at the time of the change of system:

freedom and welfare”.

The party leaders approved a document entitled Guarantees of a Change of Era, containing conditions for establishing the joint list. In the document, they declare that the goal of their alliance is to “create an independent, livable and proud Hungary”.

  • Opposition parties turn to EU: Orbán and his government are not synonymous with Hungary
  • Opposition parties vow to settle on joint PM candidate by Oct 2021

The parties committed to allowing only people who have not participated in crimes of corruption or “fraternised” with Fidesz to run as their candidates. The party leaders want to

end the practice of “the authorities in power turning Hungarian against Hungarian”.

They also pledged to create welfare and social peace, clean up public life, reestablish the rule of law and face the past, including the disclosure of agent files.

Great news. Now, let us see what else the gang in power will invent to prevent the opposition from running in the next elections. Let me guess: yet another election law “amendment”?

Now we see at last the “ex”-communist Socialist party, and the “ex” right wing Jobbik party all together in one list: revealing at last what they are exactly all about: unprincipled power-lusting, self-serving with nothing to offer except hatred for what Viktor Orban has achieved. Bring them on, Mr Orban will kick their asses back into Western Europe where they belong!

What MOST people miss is that Soro’s and his cronies own ALL the opposition parties, every last one of them are Soro’s lapdogs. This latest idea is not to rule Hungary but instead destroy it. NO THANKS! Fidesz and Victor Orban are doing an excellent job for the Hungarian people. Hungary needs more people like Victor Orban in government. Certainly he is not perfect but he is as close to perfect as We will likely ever see.

This agreed strategy – by the (6) six opposition parties, to “roll” our current Prime Minister – Victor Orban – to disgrace and shame the Fidesz Party, will be Political Suicide by the “game changes” – the big six.
The fragmentation that exists within the “rebel rousers” – the Political Power Games and Maneuvering – Power Authority Struggles – and finding logical or idealistic Policies – the thought or conceivability of them all (6) six of them, coming to a uniformed platform of Policies, that will grow prosper and benefit Hungary into the Future, is ABSURD.
Political Spleen – bit of backbone, what’s the problem or is fear or doubt of these parties to go it alone and mount there challenge ?
2022 – is a distant off, and there is ample time for a Party, to get there house in order – get there Policies sorted out – and make a run or mount a viable challenge, that won’t ultimately succeed, at removing Prime Minister – Victor Orban and the Fidesz Party.
The disgracefulness of the “rebel rousers” that could do severe damage to Politics in Hungary, to our Country, in the lead up to the 2022 General Elections – is if they remain “faceless” and fail to, on a – Total United Ticket & Front – disclose openly there Policies – Factorially – to and before the entire population of Hungary.
Messy – fraught with Political Dangers – the “supposed” uniformity of relationship, that the “rebel rousers” – are planting – into the Political electorates of Hungary, and they will not succeed, by this “marriage” arrangement.
